Parents of your (both local and migrant) students are a very important part of the school community not only personally, but also as the background of your students and source of their knowledge, values and attitudes.

Therefore it is important to know what the parents’ attitudes towards migrants and cultural diversity are and to have tools to work with them as well as with your students.

Especially when you work with younger children, it may be essential to start your work with the parents as they are the first and most important source of their children’s knowledge about the world.
