Working with your students and shaping an atmosphere of openness and support is the most important element of creating an inclusive environment, both prior to and after arrival of new migrant students.

It is essential to provide students with opportunities to broaden their knowledge about other cultures, sensitivity to the influence of their own culture(s) on themselves and cultural differences; and train skills important for coexisting in a culturally diverse environment.
