Language difficulties #0

If problems with communicating and using language are observed, we need to differentiate between possible reasons of these difficulties: they may be caused by insufficient proficiency in the majority language, but they may also be a result of a more general problem in linguistic development. It is important to remember that these two reasons may also appear simultaneously and if you believe the child’s general linguistic development may be hampered, s/he should be diagnosed by a specialist experienced in working with multilingual children.
